PRE-PRIMARY & PRIMARY SECTION

Any candidate who has attained the appropriate age is eligible to take admission in the school. However, admission is given to the students who are residents of Tripura and having proper documentation. Being one of the most recognised schools  in Tripura, there is a huge rush of desirous learners. As admission could not be given to all the students, candidates are filtered out through LOTTERY SYSTEM in Pre-Primary and Primary sections. Normally intake capacity of all the classes from 3rd to 5th standard remain full, hence there is hardly any vacancy existing in these classes. However, if there exists any vacancy owing to withdrawal of any child, the seats are filled by drawing of lottery whenever the number of candidates are greater than available seats.

SECONDARY SECTION

Chailengta Government English Medium Higher Secondary School is a vidyajyoti school under Mission 100 of Government of Tripura. As per latest notification of our secondary education department, any student willing to take admission from Class 6 to Class 9 in any vidyajyoti school must face an entrance test. This test carries a full marks of 100 and the qualifying marks is 40. 

Our school being one of the leading schools in Longtharai Valley sub-division, finding a vacant seat could be really tough. All the classes remain full to its capacity. Vacancy in any of these classes arise only upon withdrawal of any child.

SENIOR SECONDARY SECTION

Any student desirous of taking admission in this school must get them registered in the Vidyajyoti website. He/she needs to register himself/herself in the appropriate link given in that site. One can visit the website by clicking HERE . Once, the candidates register themselves in the portal their merit list are published in our website after a specific timeline.  Later on, the students are asked to come to school for counselling and if the learners agree to the term and conditions laid down by the school, they are offered admission. Normally these documents are sought from the students –

  4. TRANSFER CERTIFICATE – original (to be countersigned by DEO if the candidate is from outside district)

  9. PASSPORT SIZE PHOTO – 2 NOS
  10. BLOOD GROUP CERTIFICATE
  11. MIGRATION CERTIFICATE (other than CBSE schools)
  12. INCOME CERTIFICATE
